Big cities have the best crime stories.
“the defendant called 911 and said he stole a truck and he was upset because the owner pulled a gun on him,” an assistant state’s attorney told Beach during Scott’s bond court hearing Wednesday.

When cops found the truck, Scott was in the driver’s seat, prosecutors said. He was taken into custody.

There’s a bill currently awaiting the Governors signature in Illinois doing away with cash bail...

All it takes for evil to win is for good men to do nothing

Maybe the tow truck driver didn't have a clear shot. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt

Kid stole a truck that was GPS'd, wow. Well, now he's smarter. He'll just steal a truck that's not GPS'd next time. How many times he does this before he gets really enlightened and decides he wants a gun, too? What he needs is a father figure. Give him the option to go to jail or go in the Corps. The Senior Drill Instructor will be his daddy, and we'll give him a rifle for free. That's how one of my lance corporals came to be a Marine, and he was one of the best warfighters I've ever known. His name was Barton. He was a good Marine, and not afraid to take chances. He had the instinct to know what to do and when to do it, and just switched it from a life of crime to doing good. All it took was a little guidance, a Judge to see the potential and give him the option, and a Senior Drill Instructor to mold him

Not enough Senior Drill Instructors to deal with the amount of "moldable potential" in Chicago.

Besides, this pansy was butthurt that his victim fought back. Definitely NOT a candidate for US Military service. Send him to one of our enemies and let them deal with his coward snowflake safe-space BS...
