My take, understanding others may disagree:

Just another test run by foreign actors or their proxies. The real fun begins as we get closer to the elections and are quarreling among ourselves like competing troops of chimps or when the Chinaman moves on Taiwan or when other events are occurring that make us more vulnerable. My wife (who works for a software company) said it had the whiff of a not-very-well-thought-out update to her, and has been pointed out in a previous post, that’s what they’re saying occurred.

Not nearly as intriguing as an attack, solar flare, or internal sabotage would be, for sure, but it came back really fast for it to have been an attack.

DEI? Y'all realize DEI has been pushed in our military since the obama administration with the same effects/results y'all are seeing in this service outage, x10. There is not a "senior leader" in place that has not been effected, positioned, vectored without DEI being a factor. Those "leaders" allow those just like themselves to advance, while placing "others" at a disadvantage. And now you know the real reason behind the recruting problems.
