Yes Sir ,that looks like the lock work in a liberty safe. I think you’ll find that most home safes a little disappointing when you get into the inter workings of them.

I have my 2nd Cannon 40 firearm safe. First was caught in a house fire and it did the job. Cannon had me a new safe in 3 weeks dropped at the street by truck freight. Did not cost me a dime. Just myself and a dolly all the way around the house and into the bedroom. It was not easy, but it can be done.

NOTE: Two layers of sheetrock on the walls of the safe. Only one sheet of sheetrock in the door. What good is a half hour rated door on a one hour safe?

i thought a Liberty Lincoln Series had a 90 minute fire rating?

I am not 100% but some of them use a poured type composite material on the higher end containers inside the door and that comes all the way out to the edge and over over the frame. It tends to be more fire resistant than the pieces of Sheetrock type protection It is better than say Cannon for example...their door is constructed in a fashion that the steel (outside skin) can heat...the protection is a piece of Sheetrock on the very inside of the door where the other (Liberty) is on the front. There are several inches there that really don't have protection across the front.

I move one of those 1776 units from TSC last Saturday....kinda a Beast.

That does look like a good safe. BUTT no delivery. That might be a good little side business for a couple young men. I don't know if stores would refer customers to you or not due to liability issues. But ??? I'm guessing $100.00 or more depending on size.

Never buy a safe you can't move by yourself...or with yer son/best friend ;)
A good, and I mean a GOOD heavy-duty dolly is a prudent investment for
more than just moving safes...got one that fell off a Beer Truck because the
moron failed to secure it & it fell off in the middle of Hwy 98 at 4am back in 2002...
been using it for years. Also get a pair of those flat furniture dolly's from
Harbor Freight, you can move a lot of stuff around with those.

Once you get it bolted to the floor, it'll stay put :D

    Referring to CaptRoy's post...

Can you share some details of how your safe was attacked? Was it the hinges or lock or around the door frame?

Utube has lots of vids on how to crack most safes...
honestly there is no safe that can't be cracked,
it's all in how hard you make it for them to attack it.
Bolting it to the floor is VERY important...
putting it in a closet is even better...
less space for bad guys to work with tools...
I've even got alarms wired into the closet
    and inside the safe itself.

Fun thing that most crooks forget...
booby traps are for boobies ;)
Dead bad guys get the alligator pond,
why do paperwork if ya don't have to?

the one I use even climbs stairs....1500# capacity. You would be surprised how well something like that will roll on 1/4" steel rods depending on the floor material
