As title says... thinking seriously about doing a AR-10 in 308. Been wanting one for a while. If anyone happens across some Sales on these I would appreciate a heads up in this thread. With Black Friday coming up there is some hope.

Frank PSA has thier complete 308 lower for 200. Also has a complete upper around that length with big for 565 I think on thier black Friday deals. So 775 or so shipped on a complete AR-10, to me that's crazy cheap

Thanks for the info, That is pretty cheap but I have heard of a lot of problems with the PSA 308 parts and builds. I really try not to use any of their parts especially to save 10 bucks here or there, just better options out there
Frank, from what reading I have done, it's a good idea/must do to get both lover and upper receivers from the same manufacturer. The limited PSA searches I did that showed issues were ones involving mismatched uppers and lowers.
That said, that AIM Surplus looks like a really good deal for what I am looking for too. and seemed to have decent reports from the range on preformance

yeah I just try to buy anything not PSA, makes it easier that way, not saying they are not ok for cheap builds...just not a PSA fan and avoid resales of these piece meal psa builds offered on all the gun sales sites...just a personal preference
All the ones I have seen with troubles were all psa parts in the 308 line, I think 2 or 3 were discussed here in this forum..
