BSA rifle project

This is the Birmingham Small Arms rife I bought on here a few weeks ago......turns out its a Hunter Royal Viscount chambered in 7x57 and was made in 1955.... By my guess, it hasn't been shot much at all....... for 58 years old I think she is a beauty and the action feels better than my "A" prefix BDL.... the 180 rounds of ammo was a bonus..... Plan on getting her to the range in a few days..... Any BSA shooters on here I can confer with? anybody who hunts with a 7mm Mauser? I got this looking for a short to medium range rifle..... I wanted more than a .243 but less than a 7mm RemMag & 30-06.....

This should do well here in the pandle. It is very adequate for deer and hogs.

It claimed its first victim Sunday! No woryz hit a nanny on the run! Looked like it had been hit with a cannon ball.....clipped the shoulder and blew a 4 inch diameter hole out of its chest!
Very nice rifle...bolt feels smooth and rock solid.

Thanks for the picture Scott...... I did get the BDL together and will get it to the range this weekend unless we go hog hunting..... Thanks for all of the help...
