Boyds gunstocks.

I'm thinking about getting my model 70 (ranger) restocked. I found Boyds as one of the least expensive, has anyone used them? how easy to instal is the finished model.

Yes, they are excellent stocks. Many manufacurers use Boyd's stocks as OEM furniture.

I have heard great things about Boyds stocks as well and plan to use one of the many to choose from models for my 10/22 build.

I've put one on a customers 1898 Krag...just needed a minor fitting to sit perfectly. Definitely top notch stuff!

I have a few Boyd's Stocks and they are great. Now they will do a checker pattern on the grips which is a lifesaver with a laminate stock and wet weather.
Only problem I have with Laminate stocks are that they are very heavy. Otherwise, I love them. I have to order 2 new Classic Laminate Stocks from Boyd's soon...I am shelling out the extra $$$ for them to checker the grips.
