Just curious, does the western field bolt action have a bead site on end the barrel. Looks like it doesn’t, possibly been shortened? Would be a nice truck gun

@DixieReb, you are correct, there is no bead on the end of the barrel. After close inspection of the barrel end, it DOES appear to have been shortened. I never noted the apparent shorting of the barrel. Thanks for the observation.
