    If this is directed at me JW I owe the apolgy. Rereading my post, it's sounds trite. That's what I get for posting from my phone, 30' up in a man lift at the beach covered in fog and getting rained on. True.

    Ok - I was confused I thought all GMs had OnStar but subscription was optional. Got it, not all GMs come equipped with OnStar.

    Most all vehicles 2010 and newer have black boxes (like the ones in airplanes) in them and if it has the black box then it can be tracked by GPS.
