A fine 1971 serial number and a sweet shooter.







Best I can tell, this is probably the correct flash hider for a 71 model SP-1. Somewhere along there, Colt started the switch from 3 prong's to the bird cage. Close enough for me.



Got a bunch of Colt .223 magazines.




Correct stock and Triangle forearm .



I sure like mine, and it's always a conversation starter at the range.
Makes a good impression on those that have shot it.

Very nice early SP1. I have a 1977 SP1 that is in pristine condition. Since it is in that kind of condition, I have no desire to shoot it.

Good to see you, brother. Yes, the Wilson is awesome. That trigger is ridiculous. You'd figure as those guys know a thing or two about triggers. Love it!
