Barrel advice

I've decided to build my 1st AR and started
to buy the parts. I would like recommendations
for the 16" barrel and 15" free float rail. I would
a like an 16" CHF barrel mid-length but not sure
if I want to commit to a $300 barrel. TIA for
your opinions.

I've had great luck with ballistic advantage and faxon firearms. ALG defense for a low budget high quality hand guard.

Not sure of your sense of urgency for this build but in a couple days I will have a nice 5.56 16'' Midlength 1/7 twist Ballistic Advantage for sale I would make you a good deal on. Barrel was mounted but never fired. Im waiting on a new barrel from Nate that should be here in the next few days and Im going to swap them out. Barrel is already dimples and includes a low pro gas block and tube. PM me if youre interested.

For sub-$200 barrels-Faxon, PSA, possibly Bear Creek but haven't shot my 10.5" one to be sure yet
