not surprised, but that would put a smile on the faces of local gun shop owners? I just caved and placed an online order this morning, It HURT, but placed the order anyways... I fought the urge for a while....there seems to be some ammo on these sites right now... the Taxes on the order seemed LARGER than normal though...

Mike's could get rid of all of those musky smelling hunting clothes they sell and convert that whole section to ammo and powder and make a whole lot more money. I sure hope it doesn't come to that though. Without internet shopping there will be no competition to keep prices lower. Everyone could be charging like GCG's. What I would miss most is buying from Bud's Gun Shop.

They said something on the anniversary of some mass shooting a couple days ago. To the affect of "it's a delicate situation" and I think they know people are going to be pissed so I'm not sure they want to rock the boat as much as they want to placate the anti gun people by leading them on

In normal times the markup on clothing is greater than it is on ammo is what I understand. But one must change with the times.

Yeah but $200 for a hunting shirt. $150 for a medium weight vest. Almost $300 for bibs.
Same thing at Scotts but they are much more arrogant. --- SAWMAN

They not going to win any customer service awards . I quit shopping there. Hated to inconvenience them.
