I have had a bit of bad luck with a recent buy. Gun looked unfired and new. It is a cheaper rifle , CVA ELITE .223. Will only fire 50% of the time, looks like firing pin is not striking hard enough. At first I was hoping it was the tula ammo that came with it, but same on pmc. Anyone have one or know of this defect. I am hoping a pin or spring will fix it. Should be a sweet lil shooter if it shot all the time.
One thing I hate is hangfire ammo or hit and miss guns. Ruins the whole trust thing.
I guess I could get jj to look at it, huh jj? ever seen one do that?
Next I break out a S&W 22A I believe and trying it out, another hit and miss gun, FFF x FFE x FFF the 3 F's It looks to be a bit on the dirty side but not that bad??
I thought thoese lil S&W's shot everything all the time, I will have to clean it good and try again.
