Backorders at Spikes

Food for thought.

Talked to my sales rep at Spikes. Order placed 22 May of last year for lowers. She, thinks it'll ship in "about a month". That put's the Backorder from last May at a year. Can't imagine what the BO for lowers placed in the last couple months is going to be.

Latest parts order of LPKs and buffer tubes came in about 2 months though.

We were definitely a day late and a dollar short on getting our group buy together... It's going to be a while before we see "normal" again.

We are beginning to see "black" rifles in stock at WalMart & Academy again. I think the demand will remain high -- but no longer at "panic" levels. Everyone I know has at least one "evil" looking rifle now... Ammo is beginning to return to the shelves as well -- expect the typical range stuff, 9mm ball & 22 LR.

I geuss my plans of building an AR in 308 is going to have to be cancelled for awhile, geuss I'll just stick with the 1911.
