My grandson has been transported by ambulance to Sacred Heart he's going to have to have surgery I don't know how but he twisted a nerve in his back while sitting in class this afternoon and has no feeling from the waist down

I hope and will pray for the best for him. Already said one, will again tonight and again when I wake up tomorrow. Keep us updated on his condition.

They have drawn blood and he's now having and MRI
He's able to move his legs but has no feeling in them. He's in good spirits and he's a hungry 12 year old who wants to come home

LORD, restore this young man's nerves and spine to the right condition wherein You made him.
Give peace to his father and hope and faith to his family.

Just leaving the hospital and still waiting to find out what is wrong. he's being kept so they can finish the MRI.
They are going to have to sedate him for the MRI because he couldn't stay still long enough, they were only able to do the lumbar. Tomorrow when he is sedated they will finish the MRI and maybe we can find out what's going on with the boy.

When the school nurse called and we found out he had a test in the class he got out of we thought he was putting on a show but my wife took him to Santa Rosa Hospital when he insisted that he really couldn't feel anything from the waist down. Once there the ER Dr. had my wife cover his eyes and then began sticking his legs with needles and the boy never flinched. They transported him by ambulance to Sacred Heart's Pediatric ER where he has been put through the wringer with blood drawn and other test
I will post more tomorrow once I know more.

This morning he had feeling in his feet but his calves and thighs are still numb. He can stand and walk with help. Finally took him to get MRI done only waited up till three in the afternoon to come get him. The radiology department must be swamped today.
