Anyone get this msg when they search for anything?

Sometimes it happens when you're In a specific thread. Back out to main page, or a sub section and then search. If you're on a specific thread it will not find anything.
It's not always the reason but yeah just in case

I just tried with just mp5, got same message. Then I tried Remington and it worked fine

Its working for me on longer stuff.

"Sig" is too short "Sig Sauer" works but it omits "sig" as too common.

I did recently, and if I recall correctly, it went like this:

I saw an H&K VP9 in the Latest Threads or Posts, but I refreshed the page before I clicked on it, and it disappeared from "Latest". So I searched "H&K VP9", and got that message. Then I tried searching for "VP9", and it found the listing. The only thing I can figure is that the H&K part was "too common", but the VP9 part was not... and this is "if I recall correctly" : )

Also consider what DAS HUGH and Longtooth said...

Just tried it again, and I can't get it to work ANY WAY for CRAP! : )

I've had this issue.

M1, M1+Garand, M1+Garand+Rifle all return the same error as well as 870, SKS, and M1A.

If it’s shorter than 4 characters, that’s the problem.

I’ve seen that specifically mentioned as the reason on other forum search engines. I’m not sure why this forum search engine doesn’t just spell it out.

It does it I'd I type out anything ..3 characters. 4 characters..hell 20 characters

Try only words or phrases that are 4 or more each.
