I haven't completed the build because it wasn't compatible with my other 308 build projects.
I think I could modify the rear lug to work with my other lowers, but I will probably sell the set.
Not sure what I want for the M5 set.. have a 16" stainless barrel to go with it. Not decided what I'm going to do with it.?...

Keep us posted on your progress. I would love to see it completed. I dove deep last year when I found a deal on barrels. I am collecting parts (still) for 12.5", 16", and 20" builds in 7.62x51. I have the barrels, upper and lower receivers. But only 1 BCG, a couple LPK, and 1 stock and 1 brace. So i am close to getting ready to assemble them. Alas, other gun projects and purchases push it back to beyond the back burner. Lol, not to mention the 5.56 builds i still haven't completed.

I just checked Aero's site. I couldn't find the builders set. Or anything with a cool finish like yours.
All I saw was black, fde, and raw....

They did this set as a special run for September. Every month they do a special limited run builders set. They release it at 11am central on the first Friday of the month. And they sell out in 30ish minutes.

They have very limited supply on their special edition sets.

Search aero precision builder sets on gunbroker to see others.

Cool, good to know. Back when i was shopping for a set, they had a special edition with WW2 aircraft art theme. Wanted it bad. But didn't get it..

I like the CMC flat faced triggers if you are going to use a drop in trigger.
