$50 and up is a hint! It means they don't want to do it and want you to buy from them. I CAN TAKE A HINT!

I work around the corner and stop by occasionally to kill time. I literally drive by it every day. I was in there yesterday and a uniformed military member asked about a transfer and they said $50

Great...so im stuck spending 100 bucks on a couple cheap lowers to transfer. Ugh...i should have known they'd crank the price up to some ridiculous number.

Maybe if you are lucky they will charge $50 for both. That is how many of the “go to” FFLs on here do it. I think Nate at Little Jack’s charges $20 for up to 3 serial numbers. Sorry about your deal

just Look at it as paid for wisdom, it’s cost me more than that to learn things that benefited me less.

50 dollars..... I'm pretty sure that's the maximum the government will allow. Kinda like some banks charge 20 dollars to cash a check and some are 8.
Most all pawn shops charge 50 dollars now too with the exception of Carson's which is 35.
