Anybody shot these??

Had originally bought them for a 22 defensive pistol project. 1850 fps

I got some to try out a while back, found them to be exceedingly inaccurate out of a marlin 60, savage 64, and winchester lever gun. Might need a different twist rate. 6+ inch groups at 30 yards

I would imagine the accuracy would be lacking at 21 gr for Long Rifle. They seem kind of gimicky like those CCI Quick shots that were segmented into (3) sections. I tried those on ground hogs when I lived in NC and they failed miserably! My go-to.22 LR round for 4 legged critters has always been CCI Velociters. They penetrate well, are fairly accurate, and will feed in all my .22 guns!

I haven't shot these specifically, but I have shot some others that advertise around 1550 FPS. In general I find that the higher you go above standard velocity (1070-1100) the more accuracy degrades, with normal 22lr barrels. There is probably a different twist rate or length needed for the super high velocity bullets, just like there is a different twist rate nedded to shoot the 60 grain heavy for caliber subsonic rounds with good accuracy

Well, my plan was for a short barrel, get off me gun. So these might fit the bill. Need to blast a test target- dillo- and see. Just leary of shooting them out of a semi auto, don't want to bang up the action.

Without looking at any load data, I'd guess that any action would be fine, that it's probably the same amount of powder as the 1550 FPS ammo and that it's only faster because it's a 50% lighter bullet
