Any USPSA in our area?, I'm new to match shooting, have done a couple of IDPA matches and will definitely do more. I would like to try some of this other suff I've been reading about. Thx...

there's a group of us on here to travel to Mobile and Biloxi and shoot USPSA once in a while. Also got some shooters here that shoot the Dothan match, the Core match and the one's closer to Tallahassee.

Thanks, you guys are awesome, lots of encouragement on the range, lots of welcomes on the forum. I'm typically kind of anti social on the Internet, ( no Facebook, Twitter, etc.) dont blog or generally follow any sites. Yours is the exception it is bookmarked and I've been looking at it fairly regularly since I found it. Thanks for all the info:usa2:

In addition to Biloxi and Mobile, Poplarville (MS) and Perlington (MS) also have USPSA matches. Check out this: http://smsps.com (hopefully link works) :usa2:

MPSA (Mobile Practical Shooters Assoc) in Vinegar Bend (hour or so north of Mobile) also host a couple matches each month, they are very good. Can find their details on the USPSA site.

Being relatively new to the area as well, there are enough matches between IDPA and USPSA (and two/three gun) to keep busy on the weekend. Little bit of a drive if not used to it (average two hours from P'Cola area). I've not ventured east yet to shoot matches, been going west...young man! HA!

All in all, great bunch of folks to shoot with and get some late lunch afterwards. Makes for a great weekend!
