Governor Terry McAuliffe signed a bill today that ensures that anyone with a concealed carry permit issued anywhere in the United States can carry in Virginia, in a stunning reversal of an attempt by Attorney General Merk Herring to sever reciprocity agreements with 25 states.

Well that certainly is a win. Admittedly I don't keep up with Virginia, but I had heard about and thought that the move to sever reciprocity agreements had succeeded.

Seems the pendulum of gun rights there have swung the other way.

The VA Attorney General is the one that cancelled all reciprocity. The VA legislature and the governor showed him what they thought. I'm surprised that the governor signed it because he has been anti-gun in the past.
