I am disgusted with trail cameras. Have owned and used pretty much every major brand. They all work just fine right out of the box but none of them last. Either they start eating batteries like candy, or lose their sensitivity, or just quit working altogether. Cheap chinese junk. All of them.

I discovered the same thing when I first started with Spypoints. I now use Browning for non cellular cameras and Moultrie for cellular cameras. I've had good luck with the Brownings and the I'm in my first year of using the Moultries.

As stated above buy once cry once I run Reconyx 24/7 with NO problems at all pricey but well worth it their solar adapter is great. I have tried a couple of Tatacams they have proven to be great for the money I just don't have the longevity with them that I have with Reconyx

I have TACTACAM, 3 of em, and they have been going for 3 years. I use lithium batteries and they last for over a year.

My Browning is 12 years old and still working. All the others die in 2-3 years. Covert, Moultrie, Stealth and Vikeri. One of the Vikeris actually caught fire and melted out in the field using Lithium AA batteries. The Vikeris do take great pics. Good enough to get a local meth head arrested for armed trespassing.

Spartan is the best around, based out of Georgia. I was having a problem and while I was on hold, I fixed it and hung up. They called me back 3 minuets later to see what was wrong
