Ammo sign at Destin Walmart

My wife scoped out the ammo, or lack of ammo at the Destin wally while she was out there this morning and found the following sign. I thought it was interesting seeing as how i've been reading alot of reports of walmarts getting their stock back. Ive yet to see any progress in FWB.

Sign reads as follows,

"The following ammo has ben placed on a "hard block" and can no longer be ordered manually at the store level.
-All handgun
-Small rifle (.223,5.56,7.62)
-All .22 caliber
-Target 100-pk. shotgun shells"

It is computer replenished and ordered,managers cannot override it. Seems some one got tired of either A being cussed at or B being asked the same question over and over.

Yea cause Im pretty sure that sign covers all ammunition!!! Just had to say "all ammunition"!!!!

National news yesterday just reported that Walmart was restricting sales to three boxes per customer nation wide. Kinda slow on reporting that one.

Sooner or later the goverment is gonna find a way to restrict ammo. they dont have to ban guns ,just make it hard or expensive to buy ammo. its coming, they just aint figured it out yet.

WTF is "Hard Block"? Is that worse or better then a soft block? Do they ever place ammo on a wood block? How about an ice block? Do they ever sun block it or even can they? Why can't someone walk over and take the ammo off of that block and carry it back to the shelves where it belongs? I'm confused.

Unless its changed in the passed couple days the timlans corner and west mobile walmarts are still recieving ammo with out any limitations. It seems to be at the store managers level as to what they carry for firearms and ammo but we'll see. When they change I'll never spend another dime there.

At least the sign says "small rifle" and not assault rifle cal or heavy artillery.
