Ammo box

Plano has .30 cal size ammo boxes on sale for $4.99. Plastic of course but sturdy enough and holds 6-8 boxes of rifle or pistol rounds. The trick is that there is not a gasket to make them water resistant. The model with the gasket is $14.99. I bought 10 of the $4.99 model and purchased 120 feet of .140" dia. screen splining for $6.00 off Amazon. it fits perfectly and saved about $9 per box. These are certainly not the be all and end all of ammo boxes but definitely fit the bill for low cost storage solutuon.
