I think I know the answer to this but I'm gonna ask the experts. I painted a bunch of 30 rd AK mags before I realized there wer some holes in the sides and now it jams on the 4th or 5th shot. Could that be it ? If there is any other common type things that can cause this any advice would be appreciated. It was that textured paint too. I don't have an unpainted on to test with.

Im guessing you got paint inside and on the spring. Have you taken one of the mags apart and tried cleaning it up?

I agree. After I rebuild my house I will do that. Went to sell it and threw in a bunch of painted mags as a bonus and have it sent out for repairs now. I have no time. Thanks for the responces.
