Just went to buy a truck battery, their "value brand" (a $39 battery) is now $111.00

They told me they have raised prices 3 times in the last thirty days. And that their battery rep told them it was due to all the lead being shipped overseas.

I think it may be going elsewhere ..........

Zeus, I was told something very similar over a year ago when I replaced a battery on my boat... maybe those lead free frangible rounds that I use for practice will be our future carry ammo. I hope not...

Just like cement and lumber it's going to China. China's lead imports have jumped 600% in the last couple of months.

Don't forget oil - China and India are now major importers of oil to fuel their manufacturing facilities.

China and India will be huge problems for us in the coming years. The total lack of responsible, competent leadership in DC couldn't be at a more dangerous time! Bending over to the UN and IMF is a terrible way to protect American interests and freedom. Just my 2 cents, again....:usa2:
