who is the manufacturer on the ss109s?

Not exactly sure, they appear to be military. If want to pm me your phone number, I'll be glad to send you pics of all markings on the can.

According to the Google machine, they are made in Belgium by FN Herstal. Not sure about how accurate that information is, but that's what I found.

SS109 is almost the same as the 855's = penetrators

Thanks for the info. I bought them a couple years ago and really didn't pay any attention to what they were, and recently found them in one of my ammo stashes.
