Thanks for the info. I had mistakenly thought Silver Tip and Power Power were from two different manufacturers.

they stopped making Silver Tips somewhere around 2000 I think. It had kind of a large aluminum cap on the tip to protect the lead


Power Points just had the regular lead tip
