Bring a pair of work gloves for when you not shooting, we going to be picking up a bunch of freshly painted plates out the mud.

I had a great time at the match! Got to hang out with existing friends and meet a lot of new ones. I shot a fairly consistent match. I had 2 stages in particular that weren't great, but I didn't bomb any. I'll have the videos up in a day or three. I can't find my video editing software disk since my old laptop crashed.

Excellent match put on by Jeremy of Jabs Steel and the Dothan Gun club. With as many shooters involved and weather delays we were able to shoot 8 stages smoothly with a squad of about 10-12.
I didn't do as well as I would've liked to because of...insert various excuses here. I did learn quite a bit and was able to meet some great people and learn techniques that will help me in the future. As with Jeep, I'll try to edit and post season videos in the next couple days.

Match was fun and it was great shooting with you guys. Wish I had more time to chat I swear it felt like we were either setting steel, shooting, reloading or filming other people all day. I got to convince the rest of our group to get head mounted go pros. I was stuck in that part of the order where I had the phone camera for 4-5 of them in a row lol.

Makes a big difference having a hard working good squad like you guys also. Big difference from being in a squad with 3-4 old guys sitting in lawn chairs all day.

Mosher it was great meeting you and the other fellas from Miss. I'll definitely have to follow Jeep over to Biloxi one Saturday.

This match was a blast! Great squad to shoot with! It took me too long to realize that leaving a few plates would actually be better for my score than clearing them all. I just can't stand leaving a steel plate up and staring at me....laughing....fucking plate...

^ I know. I had a few really good stages, but also a few really bad stages. Jeep and I were neck and neck and we ended up closer than I thought at the end. The after-match over analysis is the worst part... obsessing over things that coulda, shoulda, woulda.

Here is my GoPro video from the match. I'll try to get the 3rd person view edited and uploaded at some point today. I'll also do a write up in my training journal thread.
