I’m currently trying to restore my wife’s 1991 Cherokee xj. Parts are increasingly difficult to locate. Runs and drives but instruments don’t work and needs new interior fuse panel - along with seats, carpets, etc. Any thoughts or assistance is greatly appreciated.

I've owned a couple Cherokees, junk yards are full of them and there are tons of after market parts available. You can just about rebuild Cherokees forever.

I had a 94 that was a beast, like a previous poster said, the aftermarket for jeeps in general is abundant, and those model cherokees are pretty easy to find in junkyards and buy-here-pay-here car lots. Also, if you have the seats, they're just worn badly, it's less expensive than you think to get them re-upholstered.
