    On Wilson combat website the have two different beavertail drop in and a full length beavertail what's the differents the two

    The drop in requires very little if no fitting at all. The other requires a good bit of fitting to install. Both will require some fitting to ensure proper safety function of it.

    If your not particular with the cosmetics, yes. Personally I wouldn't use a drop in. They just don't look good in my opinion. Much nicer when fitted to the frame and blends in as if it is part of the frame.
