The new MecGar 10 rd teflon coated mags work flawlessly in my Tisas Commander 9mm.

*edit: The MecGars replaced a brand new Wilson Combat that failed when the spring hung up inside. It was replaced after paying a 10% restocking fee. I have had Wilson Combats .45 that were 25-30 years old and still work flawlessly. Go figure...

Might sound like I’m being cute, but you do know commander and government take the same mags?

I run both metal form(nickel) 9 rounders, and mec gar 9(blue) and 10(melonite) rounders in a 9mm Springfield. I prefer the flush mags for carry. From what I understand is metal form is oem for a lot of 1911’s(regardless of caliber).

I also bought 2 ed brown 9mm mags that turned out were 10mm(factory package mislabeled). So far they feed 115 and 124 fmj fine, they’re range mags.

I’ve managed to find some locally, usually just one at a time. I order from Greg cote llc
