Does this have the current OS for Apple? I am a PC user and have no clue about the old or new apples. can you use a mouse? How slow are they compared to win 7 and a new PC? Thanks

It has the most current version of OSX it can accommodate which is 10.6.8. After that they stopped support for the older processors. You can use a mouse, either through USB or you can use an apple wireless mouse. OSX is a decently fast OS, and has never quite aged the way Windows does. I dont know how to explain it. It is definitely not as fast as a newer PC/Mac, as they have processors that are at least three generations faster. However, it does not feel as old as it is. I use it sometimes to browse the internet or watch YouTube and do not have issues.

I have also lowered my price to reflect a price change in my CL ad, and a price for forum members as well.

Latest OS or not this is still an amazing deal. I would buy it if I didn't already have a Macbook Pro that I am typing this on right now. Upgrade it with some extra RAM and an SSD and it will be blazingly fast. Plus, it's a Mac so not too much to worry about from Adware, Spyware, and Viruses.

This is also a perfect laptop for someone wanting to try a Mac. You will not be able to buy a PC at this price that will have the quality you will see in an Apple product.

Bump for a great price and awesome laptop!
