Beech, Ruger never made a maple stock for the 10/22 that I can find, though there are aftermarket maple ones available. Ruger used Walnut, Birch (most common), and Beech wood for their stocks. In my opinion, that's an unstained (blonde) beechwood stock. Can be similar to maple in appearance, but not hardness. I may be wrong, but I couldn't find anything on Ruger making a factory maple stock for a 10/22. A while back, Styx River had a 10/22 with a very figured birch stock that looked a LOT like it was curly maple, almost a tiger stripe pattern, which is uncommon in birch and looked badass. Had I a little more cash in my pocket that day it would be in my collection for sure.

Cash is always king but trades with cash can work as well. If not I may throw back in safe
