I've wanted a USP Tactical in .45 since forever. I've seen a few around but circumstances never seemed to align for me to pick one up. I did manage to get a standard .45 and kept it for a little while but it wasn't truly what I wanted.
Except some versions of the Double Nine had a steel frame. The Marshall’s frame was aluminum. The Marshall model was just a Promotional model of the Double Nine. Exact same gun just with Imitation stag or ivory grip.
The Marshall was made 1971 - 1973 and had an aluminum frame. The Durango and the longhorn could be had with either aluminum or metal frame. Basically same gun just different name. The double The double 9 Made after 1971 had Steel frame.
I had one once, the full kit in the dedicated HK zipper bag. That and a Para Ordinance P13 and a Taurus PT millennium were the only 45s I've ever owned. The 2 smaller were rough on a wrist. I think I traded it for an M1A. I'm amazed at how USPs have held their values. I begrudgingly traded my compact to get my full size back, started looking for another to host all my custom parts. I ended up buying a P30 for way less and traded back with him. Now I just finished building a pseudo "Wick stick". I see one every now and again over on HKPro forums, next time I'll give you a heads up!I've wanted a USP Tactical in .45 since forever. I don’t know if they just made fewer snub nose or people are just hanging onto them but I do see a LOT more 4” and 6” S&Ws than the short barrel.S&W model 64 snubnose... had to sell one earlier in life and they're kinda rare now. Stoopit ex-wife.
Oh man yeah! Pre lock 66 snub would be another I’d love to get!S&W model 64 snubnose... had to sell one earlier in life and they're kinda rare now. Stoopit ex-wife.
I have a 66 and a 686 pre lock snub. The 686 is a -1 only made those for a year, and the 66 is a -4 so it’s drilled and tapped and the best pre lock you can get.
I have a M19-4 snub. Wouldn’t part with it for anything.
