Yesterday Mr. Rankin looked the New Model 3 over and advised that it had been re-finished.

That frees me to take it to the range one day and shoot some of the 100 rounds I loaded up for it.

I know I will be grinning like a fool when I touch a round off in it!
Happy that your gonna go shoot it, but sad that it wasn't orginal. Love those top break pistols. I've got 2 that are over 100 years old and still go bang.

Question cause I don’t know. But looks like that fiber sight might be on backwards. Wouldn’t you look through the ring to see the fiber instead of having the fiber so close to the eye

Mosin slings? Leather tabs, canvas? Saw "ak slings" at the gunshow that looked like mosin or sks.

They are all canvas fit all ,just add hook hardware on the ones i think i got from AKOU the other set i cannot remember were i got them from. I got the idea to modify them from watching the IDF infantry in gaza the first set seems to work well as i shoot left handed i had to sort out sling in the way of sights and magazine change for one set . The second set will hang from the rear stock only along my side with my hand right on the grip/trigger should turn out well once the wife fits me and sews them up . I will post pictures when all are done ,one set is for what i call rear guard duty and the other front line summertime duty .

Give an update on that trigger please. I almost grabbed one but couldn't find a good review on them.
installed and checked a few thing this weekend. Ran out of time and didn't get a chance to run it.
through the first pull it averages 3.85, on reset it is a consistent 3.59. Reset seems faster/shorter than the Geissele I have in another rifle. I'll try and remember to report when I run a mag or 2 through it.

i finally got around to going thru my 5.56 and separating the m193 from the m855. i know, heresy. i like to put my greentips in stripper clips and bandoliers...make my own battlepacks. i also picked up a Leupod VX-3HD 4.5-14X50MM scope. took advantage of gulf coast guns' tax holiday
