Got my plates in. Got it mounted. WOW!! Is this optic nice. Even clear and crisp with my bad eyes. The RomeoZero is junk compared to this. The RZ looks like a check mark or figure 8 not a dot.( it was 50% cheaper)
Hard to get a pix. The bullseye is much larger at arms lenght. Like +25% of the viewing area.
One of the mos plate screw heads was toast, lots of foul language and various hand tools required to get it out. Explains why it was cheap. I did not notice till I tried to remove it.
Look forward to zeroing and hopefully hunting with it soon.

Yep... I've heard a lot about blurry/distorted dots, and of course that can be caused within the optic itself, by your eyes, or by your glasses. I have some glasses that will cause some dots to starburst, etc. Seems the coating on the glasses can do it sometimes. But the dot on my little old Viridian looks great (pic below). Note that the camera focused on the rear of the slide, so the dot actually looks much sharper than in the pic.

Uh, oh. Trigger is acting werid. When pulled it's not releasing the firing pin everytime. Doing target shooting slow pull. WTH? Trigger bottoms out and dosent release, if I bump the gun it does.
Must be a too long screw on the plate???
The only thing I did differently was install the optic and plate. ???? One hole was deep the other quite shallow. Used the screws that came with the plates.

Oh, crap... don't look at me. I don't know what those look like underneath the cover : )

I've always wondered if a long screw just bottoms in a blind hole, or does the hole actually pass through to other cavities, where the screw could interfere with something.

Don't know. There was traces of RED locktight in the plate... that explains the tore up screw head...

Get the impact and torches out! : )

You're scaring me. Went to pick up my new M&P today... they called to tell me it was "ready to go", but when I got there, they hadn't run the background yet. Waited like THREE HOURS until they closed, but got no response from NICS.

When I left, the gun box was still sitting on the counter, so I pushed it towards them as if to say "Put this up for me", but they looked like they were just going to leave it there overnight. ALL I NEED is for it to become a "demo gun" tomorrow, and have somebody do something stupid with it... like try to fire it with the safety on and tweak my trigger linkage... so I'm going to have to call them in the a.m. and ask them to please don't let anyone handle my pistol! : )

Barrel and mag, right? : )

    What about recoil spring?

And breech face/extractor? Are they compatible?
Yep, longer barrel and mag, I have a g21.
May need a lighter spring. Supposed to be ok to use the 10mm extractor, 10mm slide. More reading required.

Need to find someone who has both? @Bowhntr6pt
