Well like the Chief says, he is glad he is about ready to retire, because everyone is screaming “Defund the Police” and he says he is really concerned about the future of this country with all this anti police rhetoricThe 14yo girl said " I'm gonna roll this down like Grand Theft Auto." Wonderful what kids get from video games! [Sarc]. Same "child" set fire to the care facility she was in, which got her moved to the one she and the 12yo runaway from. I hope they're tried as adults. They made a whole lot of seperate decisions to do bad things and would not change course when asked or confronted. Boy only put gun down and surrendered after girl got dropped when shot in the chest.

I couldn’t agree more, and this should also serve as a reminder to have all your weapons secure. I use to have guns all over the house, we have no kids living at home and I wanted one to grab at several locations if needed. Now they are ALL in a safe now I don’t have to worry about getting in a gun fight against a burglar using my own weapons against me ! I carry one in and out of the house every time I leave or come home, all the others are locked awayO tempora! o mores!
I look upon this as something that is possibly on the way to a neighborhood like yours. Imagine what happens if a civilian is forced to take on such 'children'
I think is a combinations of many things, and yes I think video games play a part but definitely not the sole culpret. It is the lack of a family nucleus, it is fatherless children, the lack of prayer, the lack of discipline. We took god, spankings and the pledge out of our schools and now we are reaping what we have sewn ! Children and youth have no fear, no worry of repercussions for their actions, and it is now manifesting itself in what we are seeing daily. Parents were told to discipline with time outs, to allow children to act out, and we even gave medical diagnosis for their lashing out and sanctioned it by giving it medical names. This country is fixing to spiral out of control and WE buried our heads in the sand and allowed it to happen on our watch. GOD HELP US !This whole thing reeks of incompetence on the part of the "system". The GTA reference is about 20 years late, so that's just bs. The whole situation is infuriating.
The biggest lack is failure to see and fear or at least consider the consequences of what they do.I think is a combinations of many things, and yes I think video games play a part but definitely not the sole culpret. My dad's guns were never in a safe. He knew I knew where they were. He showed me where he kept them. I never touched them unless he handed one to me.And thats why you should keep your guns in a safe.
I keep dogs. The guns are for what the dogs are not able to handle. Takes too long to open a safe unless it is one of the quick release ones. I keep a shotgun in easy assess with 4 in the gun and 4 on the stock and also have a pistol on me.And thats why you should keep your guns in a safe.

Shouldn't have to lock them up.....but people happen.
Never once did I ever think about getting it to play or hold or shoe my friends. I had a wild temper growing up, was no thoughts of shooting anyone.
Adolescence is a 20th century invention. 100+ years ago 14 and 12 were plenty old enough to start shooting people, and in most places around the world still are nowadays.
Right or wrong, this is the same way I do it. Kimber pro carry cocked and locked close by. The rest in the vault.I couldn’t agree more, and this should also serve as a reminder to have all your weapons secure. I'm interested in your magnetic hideaways; can you provide more info?I have a Kimber .45 with Crimson Trace on my bedside table. Two Ruger P-97 inside hidden magnetic lock hideaways in my house. So 3 .45s with one of them always pretty damn close. The safe has the rest of my things.
