Nice looking car JW. Mine will get 30 mpg doing 80 on the interstate. But keep in mind, if you get a heavy foot you can go through some impressive amounts of gasoline and burn up tires at an astounding rate. Driven sensibly (it’s hard to do) they are economical cars. Get on one of the numerous Corvette forums. I know us on GCGF don’t believe there are any other forums but there really are. These cars do have problems and the forums are the best place for help.

Or , Hello Officer Red .

The vetts I’ve owned were Red or Black, the one exception was an 84 that was blue and I sold it as soon as I could order a black one.

Surprisingly it hasn't been that bad, but I'm in no hurry either. I was going to put more dynamat type material in the tunnel area but changed my mind for now.

I’ve had a couple of Corvettes.
Now I much prefer this. View attachment 115916
Can't beat a Porsche! I've had a 924, 2-944's and a 928. Never owned an air-cooled which means to the people that did have air coolers I was not really ever a Porsche owner. The 928 was my favorite, no Corvette at that time could touch it. I got away from them because of the difficulty of working on them. When you begin to get older you don't seem to enjoy working in such tight places anymore. The Corvette is much easier but can still be a bitch.

I appreciate pretty cars and fast women, their names aren’t all that important to me because I give them all a pet name. It cuts down on the confusion when I’m discussing them with friends.
