I do not expect anyone to incriminate yourself on a public forum so let’s just talk about “Them”. Anytime we see an assault on the second amendment we hear comments like “They will take it from my cold dead hands”. So in an age where our rights have never been under more attack and seeing this administration trying to pack the Supreme Court in order to Ram thru his liberal agenda at what point will “Joe American” say enough ? What will it take for a family man, a father, a husband to take up arms knowing that best case scenario he could lose his job, career and freedom to a jail cell, worst case he could lose his life ? Could it ever get so bad ? What would it take ?

Yep. There's the rub. Anybody with enough sand is too busy taking care of home, hearth and family to "take a walk to Washington" It would have to be ultra desperate times to drive that "march" I'm not talking a "toilet paper" shortage but a food or other life threatening important things. By that point you'd probably be unemployed anyway. Loss of usg retirement checks, hyper inflation, WROL etc..

I think that they will eventually pass laws that will have so harsh of penalties like extremely high fines and / or jail time that most everyone would be willing to comply. Lets say the penalty for being caught with an assault weapon (after a ban) carried a $100,000 fine and up to 20 years in prison, I sure wouldn't take the chance of being caught with one. Trust me this won't happen overnight but who knows what the future will be like when our grandchildren are our age? Maybe better, maybe worse, who knows. Time will tell.

You will know it when you see it and confirm its factual. Any form of communication can deliver it or it can be in person under various scenarios. That just puts "it" in your lap. There's no need to compare each individuals Line in the Sand or Straw that breaks the camels back. Regardless of what's said, nothing is in stone: priorities, plans, commitment and bravado is all subject to change; so can tolerance, restraint and inaction. Some may be individual kickoffs because of specific targeting of him/her/family-member or nearby event. On the other hand the masses could be pushed beyond what they are willing to endure or by actions against others that outrage the public in one or several ways. Oppression is a ticking bomb which makes the people explode. The more tyrannical and egregious the actions, the faster the clock ticks. Some fuzes are shorter than others.
