They did that to me twice and then on the third time they said it would be eight days before I could pick it up so the hell with your pick up and I sure as heck aren’t going back in one of their stores for the rest of my life . Remember the old days when Sam Walton would just walk in a store like a regular customer and check on how things are being run one time he went to Crestview and fired some woman for the way she talked to him I suspect he would just close the whole damn chain down if he was alive today

Yea sawman. Those Wal Mart pick up employees will cut you off and run you over. It's insane.
Avoid walmart is the best bet. My life is better when I do. Keeps my blood pressure down. Allows me to eat more bacon.

We went to Walmart at Tiger Point (Gulf Breeze) this afternoon. No frozen food, virtually no fresh meat or poultry, no cold cuts, no sausage, no hot dogs, no cheese, no eggs, no deli. Everything else seemed stocked up.

Edited to add: It was just an observation. I was/am in no need of supplies, other than going to pickup some milk and laundry detergent.

First The Crestview walmart...the checkers are slow and do not know how to bag so I use the self checkout and do not have to interact with stupidity.

They carry less and not the same brands as a big store or managers that know how to order, poorly stocked.

the stockers and pickers are always in your way along with the robots. I ask them questions just to slow them down and make them get out of MY way.

Sam as been turning in his grave for 20 years.

They have a new prime offering 5 cents off gas, we have no gas station. Free delivery but I have never seen pickup or delivery in less than 3 days. no they will not get my $98 a year

The amount of complaining that is going on after a hurricane is kind of ridiculous. People and stores are still without power and people are complaining about their Walmart pickup being canceled. Good grief!

I've spent the last few days ripping out sheet rock from family's house that had 5 feet of water in it. Everything is destroyed! Life is not going to be 100% normal in our area for a little bit! Deal with it!

Sounds like you are having a tough time.

Just to clarify, I am the OP and if you choose to reread, you will see it is not a complaint. It was an FYI. Hopefully to help people plan.

Hope things go better for you!

I guess that opens up those "Reserved" parking spots. Lol
I park along the woodline anyway. I'm picking something up. Doors closed, people funnels, counting customers, cop and Rx parking. Geez, it's gridlock. They use the garden center for storage now. Not one person who works there can tell you when they're going to open it all back up

Even before the storm, Walmart stopped selling hand guns in the 80s-90s, ARs after Sandyhook, and more recently stopped selling hand gun and "assault rifle" ammo. Just sayin', they are not exactly all about our 2A rights, IMO.

If you think the Walmart service here is bad - go to south Florida or Louisiana.

I will go to Walmart here - but will not set foot in one in those places.

I am having PTBSSD (post traumatic bad service stress disorder) from posting this. I will be in the corner crying for a minute.
