Dave Ramsey and the Navy SEAL's do this too. Nothing to laugh at, for sure. A solid strategy. If you're facing unspecified threats it's better to have a wad of cash... and so be mobile and fast and able to buy whatever you need when and where you need it... then to be lugging around 2 of everything for every different kind of scenario preparedness. Cash is king.

At 5’6” 165lbs I print most guns. I have to carry small in order to be concealed and not print. With that said, I carry a Sig P238 with an extra mag and a Kershaw LEEK. In colder winter months when I can wear jackets, Glock 19. I also incorporate other knives depending on situation or just mixing it up. Those being a CRKT SPEW on the belt, Boker Arbolito Stag, Buck 119, KaBar Becker, or Kershaw Ripcord. The ripcord was discontinued for some reason but it’s pretty neat the way it deploys.
