For sale is a new in box unfired Limited Edition Colt 1911 Government Model in .45 ACP. It has a 5 inch National Match barrel, Novak sights (black rear, brass bead front), checkered frontstrap, undercut triggerguard, Commander hammer, extended beavertail grip safety, cocobolo (I think) wood diamond checkered grips, and lowered ejection port. This uses the original Series 70 system, not the Series 80 with the firing pin block. It has an excellent trigger. I got this with the intention of doing some custom work to, but other projects are calling so I'm sending it on. It comes in the original box with manual, original Colt 8 round stainless mag and a Tripp Research 7 round mag. This was a limited run from sometime late 2022/early 2023 and is drying up. I have not fired this pistol or made any modifications to it.
Price is firm at $900, I'm losing a few hundred bucks on this but I'd rather it go to someone who wants it. Cash only, local, in person sales only to FL residents. Buyer must have a FL ID and must be willing to fill out a Bill of Sale with Name, Address, Drivers License, CCW (if applicable but not required), and phone number. You will get a Bill of Sale as well with all my information on it.
I am not interested in any trades other than perhaps pre-lock S&W revolvers in excellent/like new condition or unfired Uberti 1873 rifle in .357.
I live in Miramar Beach but work in Fort Walton Beach, so hopefully we could arrange to meet somewhere here/Destin or Fort Walton. Thanks for looking and let me know if you're interested! I can take and send more pics if wanted.
