I'm looking to spend my Christmas money on a deer rifle(I think). I want to spend under $400. I got a new Nikon prostaff for Christmas so it doesn't necessarily need a scope. I'm located in Mobile and can meet halfway to Pcola if needed. Looking for the typical calibers, .270, .30-06, .308 etc. PM me with what ya have. I'm a PFF member if anyone needs references.

I didn't think we could sell across state lines without doing the paperwork from a dealer but hey could be wrong

Long guns can be sold across state lines with no paperwork, hand guns have to be transferred though

we have had this same dicussion many time's. Im pretty sure its illegal to private sell any gun across AL/FL line without FFL.
    unless changed recently?(like in October)

    Definitely WRONG.
Unlicensed individuals may NOT sell any firearm across state lines per ATF rules. Muzzleloaders excepted.

Yeah my bad, I was half asleep in a tree stand this morning when I wrote that. I was thinking of buying long guns from a dealer out of state and being able to take them with you where a handgun has to be shipped and transferred to a dealer in your state.
