I got into stippling stuff a while back and have done everything from PMAGS (before they were worth more than gold) to stocks to my M&P9. I was curious what the legality would be of stippling other peoples firearms without their presence? I am assuming I would need an FFL just like a gunsmith would need?

I don't know the answer to this, but I think that if you are engaging in business pertaining to firearms that you need an FFL. Nate can probably drop in and give us some info.
