Oh, no doubt, but I'll assume that Gates:

1. Is in favor of sending food to Africa, for example, which leads to starving populations that can't sustain themselves breeding even more, and places an ever-increasing load on agricultural producers to repeat this cycle ad nauseam. (I've long said that if you really cared about starving people in Africa, you would stop sending them food, because this artificial system must eventually collapse, and you are only making the final outcome worse.)

2. Is in favor of open borders in first-world countries to "relieve" the pressure of the resulting population increases.

Even if Gates no longer holds or never did hold both positions, there are plenty who do, even as they warn us about "climate change" and over-population.
