I got one of my kids the wood-stock Rio Bravo a few years ago. It was alright, a minute of can kinda gun. Fun to plink with, but you weren't gonna win any accuracy competitions. Would jam occasionally, especially with shorts, but I will say that it did NOT have light strikes. It left a nice dent in the rim of the round, so if it failed to fire it was ammo related not light primer strikes unless it was hella dirty after shooting a bulk pack of Thunderbolts or other super dirty ammo. Was a pain in the ass to clean, but most lever-actions are (rimfires especially)

I don't have a lever gun, but have 2 Rossi semiautos, 22lr & 22wmr, never had a hiccup with either.
Glad to hear that, but im guessing you just havent fired them enough. Lol , I have fired a truckload of .22,s in every configuration. I cant think of a single time i didn't experience a hiccup with any one of them. But then again i throw any type ammo into them also.
