We will experience a partial solar eclipse just before sunset on Oct 23. The eclipse will start somewhere around 1630hrs and reach maximum coverage, 33% about 1730hrs, just before sunset. Check with spaceweather.com for details.
You will need a clear western horizon and a good filter to observe the eclipse. Dr Wooten has filters if you want one, contact him at wwooten@pensacolastate.edu
