I bought a new Chinese and a new Russian with the bayonets back in the early eighties. I think I paid $79 for one and $89 for the other. I have shot a lot of rounds through the Chinese and the Russian hasn't had a round through it. These things aren't fancy, but they are like a Timex and just keep on ticking.

I hear ya Smitty...too bad we all cant fire up the ol' Time Machine and go back to the good ole' days...Im sure we all wish we would have bought a truckload of them to sell them now. I bought mine at MCB Camp LeJuene when they opened the new PX there and you have to believe that they had a tractor trailer full of them and they sold like hotcakes....funny seeing grown men in line for a while to buy a nice gun...bought two that day one for my father and one for me...sold one for around $400 a few years back
