    When I lived in the Smoky Mountains of NC we had coyotes and coy/wolves (half coyote half red wolf).
    A 12 ga with #4 buckshot worked best! Very rarely were they ever standing still. In rural farm country I would be willing to bet that more coyotes have been taken w/ a shotgun than anything else.

    I don't know the differences between GA and FL but we can't use FMJ on animals, it has to be a soft point (expanding bullet) of some type

    I have some frangible 40 to 50 gr stuff (grey poly tips) I believe would be ideal.
