Marlin Papoose/ 10-22 target barrel conversion

I'd like to see if anyone can recommend a gun smith that could cut a target barrel and set it up much like the factory one so that it can be removable. I'd also like to have some trigger work done. It's for my son. I could just go the 10-22 route but this would be unique. There isn't any other options that I can find for it. It's a great little rifle, but it could be better.
